1 John 2:3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

We are the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Jacob, also known as Israel is the father of the Israelites. We know the color of the Israelites (Jews) of the Bible based on the signs attributed to them in the scriptures; most noteworthy, the continuous bad treatment and conditions that were prophesied to befall the real Israelites if they failed to keep the laws and commandments of God. (Deuteronomy 28) God promised the Israelites that if they failed to obey him, he would curse them and eventually have them removed from their land and carried away as slaves into every nation upon the earth. Israel rebelled, and God kept his promise. This is a direct clue to our history as a nation of people.
